MESSAGE FROM H.E, GOVERNOR OF DAB AND HONORARY MEMBER OF AFGHANISTAN BANKS ASSOCIATON.
The Afghan economy is making a resounding progress in economic growth and development , emerging from the economic collapse and disintegration of social fabric that was caused by the prolonged war .The massive rebuilding exercise that is currently underway in our country has probably no parallel in the human history.

Banks Association (ABA) is a non – political & non-profit association
formed by the local & foreign commercial banks branches striving for a
strong, healthy and competitive banking industry in Afghanistan,
representing the common interests of the banking sector. It is committed
to create an environment in which its member can work in coordination
with decision makers for promoting the financial services to the wider
public and advocating transparency and professionalism.
ABA member banks generally provide the following services and products
:
- Opening of Current, saving & deposit accounts in Afghanis and other permitted Foreign Currencies.
- International Funds transfer through – SWIFT.
- Domestic funds transfer through Afghanistan clearing and settlement system
(ACSS- Da Afghanistan Bank).
- Cheque collection services.
