ABA conducts capacity building program for its member banks

On June 11th 2023, the ABA in collaboration with AJMS Global hosted a webinar for commercial banks of Afghanistan – members of ABA.
The major topic of the webinar delivered by the speakers was Transformation of Conventional Banking to Islamic Banking, followed by Q & A session at the end of the webinar.
The ABA's Executive Director, being the moderator of the webinar thanked the speakers and banks’ participants for their availability. He then made brief introduction about ABA $ speakers.
During his opening remarks, he stated that there will be more other webinars and specialized trainings by the Association in the future . He urged the banks to get maximum benefits of these trainings and webinars.
The session also explored the unique prospect for the expansion and growth of Islamic banking in Afghanistan.
The participants of banks welcomed the session and found it very useful.
